Floribunda
Roses
As noted in the
Polyantha section, the Floribunda roses were developed by crossing
certain Polyanthas with Hybrid Teas and other rose species in order
to produce roses which provide masses of colour over a long season
useful as "bedding" roses. Usually taller than Polyanthas
and with larger flowers in huge upright trusses, the Floribundas are
easier to grow and seem to us to have greater disease resistance than
the Hybrid Tea Roses. (Cold hardiness varies)
Our Favourites:
Autumn Sunset, Westerland Scentimental and Hot Cocoa.
Roses
are available while quantities last. Varieties marked
as 'sold out' may be available again next year. Remember to order early.
Our prices may vary from season to season depending on the plant size. See
the bottom of this list for Key.
Varieties marked as 'N/A' will not be available for 2008

"Carol
and Tony,
Just
a note to tell you how much I appreciated your handling of my
rose order and the phone calls.
They
all arrived in excellent conditon, and I am expecially pleased
to find that they were considerably more advanced than other
'own root' roses that I have received from elsewhere."
