TO ORDER OUR ROSES: (Sorry - Canada Only)

Please print out and complete the order form and mail it to us with a cheque or money-order. We recommend that you order soon to reserve what you'd like, so you won't be disappointed. (You can phone or fax first to ensure that they are all still available.) We ship by bus, collect, to the bus station nearest you and we can ship to remote area by prepaid express mail. We will notify you before shipping to confirm your order and to advise you of any balance owing. Spring shipping begins in early April. If you can list any acceptable substitutes, it would be very helpful in the event we are sold out or if a plant you ordered is still too small.

PLEASE NOTE: We require a minimum of two roses per order.

Using our New Catalogue
The roses listed are available at the time of printing. Supplies of some varieties are limited and we regret that we may unavoidably sell out for the season. Other varieties will become available as the seasons change as we continually propagate our roses from our collection of over 700 varieties. Because of the number we cannot propagate all of them in any one season. Please inquire if you don't see what you are looking for. Please check our web site periodically for New Introductions

How to Order Our Roses
Our roses are shipped in large one-gallon pots. The prices are listed beside the specific varieties on each catalogue page. ( Included is a $1 royalty fee for each David Austin rose.) Please add appropriate taxes and the small packaging fee as you fill out the order form. (Our prices may vary somewhat throughout the year depending on size and availability.) Please check the various rose lists for specific prices. We fill orders on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.

SHIPPING
We ship our roses by bus, freight collect, or by Express Mail, prepaid, from April through June and late September through November, within Canada only
. They are packaged in boxes, supported by canes and travel upright on the bus (approximately one day's travel per Province, says the bus company). We ship to the bus station nearest to you and we will notify you before shipping to ensure that you are home to pick them up. They can be kept in a pot for a short time awaiting planting as long as they do not dry out or freeze and are provided with sufficient light and air circulation. If you cannot plant your rose fairly quickly, you should pot it on into a larger pot. See our "Rose Hints" throughout the catalogue. We can also ship by courier although, due to the size of the pots, this could be more expensive. (The 1 gallon pots average 5 lbs each.)

As we frequently sell out of popular varieties, we urge you to order as soon as possible and to include payment with your order.(Check or Money order only) SORRY, WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AND WE SHIP ONLY WITHIN CANADA.

Terms
Please include a cheque or money order for the entire amount with your order form. Prior to shipping we will confirm and advise you of the amount owing.

It is extremely helpful if you indicate your second choices for us to use as substitutes should we sell out of a variety just before processing your order. If no suggested substitutes are included we will refund the excess with your shipment. For amounts less than $5.00 we will include a credit voucher with your next order. (Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.

Our Replacement Policy
We endeavor to provide a healthy rose plant which, if planted promptly and properly in a BIG HOLE with lots of fertile compost or manure, adequate room and water and at least six hours of sunshine a day, will grow into a rewarding plant. (Some varieties may not bloom until the second year.) We regret that we cannot replace plants which fail due to damage or neglect beyond our control after the plant has left our hands, but we will replace a plant if the fault is ours. Plants left sitting in pots too long are vulnerable to drying, freezing, flooding or starvation. We will replace a plant if it dies and the fault is ours. Please let us know within one month of receiving it. Please provide a letter and a photo, if possible, by mail. If we cannot replace the rose, we will offer a refund (but not the shipping costs) or a credit toward your next order.

Thank you for ordering Old Rose Nursery's "own-root" roses!
